Main Idea & Key Details with Chatterpix

I have been using Chatterpix this year in my class.  I don't have iPads for the classroom so I use my iPhone or my personal iPad. (We use these at the teacher table under my supervision.)

My kids love it!  It's a great motivator and increases engagement.

Today, we used Kristen Smith's (a day in first grade) Main Idea & Details: African Animals Edition at our teacher table.  We used close reading strategies to read the articles.  After reading, we identified the main idea and key details.  The students used Chatterpix to share this key details with the class.
